CABINETS
Cabinet boxes refer to layers of consciousness. The top level is referenced by images of reality, consciousness. There is usually a visual or physical element that pulls the viewer down to the next level which becomes more complicated because it is pulling in unconscious associations. Something there invites us to go another step deeper into subconsciousness and we find ourselves in the bottom level where there exists an environment that is very surreal or fantastic.
